Mole Valley Poets: National Poetry Day celebration

Live event or show

Description

Mole Valley Poets are pleased to be working with the Narnia Group, Guerrilla Poets, the National Trust and others in a celebration of National Poetry Day on the nearest Saturday to that day. Poets from these groups will be reading their work and there will be an opportunity for anyone with a poem, or poems, to read to join them at the microphone. This special event will be enhanced by the surroundings – Leith Hill House is a historic building associated with Darwin, Wedgwood, Vaughan Williams and Hans Zimmer and sits in beautiful countryside with amazing views. There is no charge for this event, other than the normal entry fee for a National Trust property, (currently £5.50 for an adult, free to members) and all are welcome. Why not come and join us?
