Description

The Tailleferre Ensemble is a flexible wind and piano chamber group, dedicated to promoting women in music. In this special concert we will hear works from their new CD “There are things to be said”. The CD has music by composers Germaine Tailleferre, Cecilia McDowall, Rhian Samuel, Ingrid Stölzel, Julius Röntgen, and Melchior Hoffmann. Instruments include: oboe, oboe d’amore, cor anglais, flute, clarinet, bassoon, piano.

CDs on sale after the concert @ £10 each.

Please donate to cover the costs of putting on the concert (even if you buy a CD!).
Please contribute £8-£15 each according to your means.
Children & Students £2-£5.

There will be time to chat with the musicians informally, over a cup of tea or coffee, after the concert.
