Description

Music on Thursdays Leatherhead presents a concert by the Tailleferre Wind Quintet. These experienced orchestral musicians and soloists bring us music for combinations of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn and bassoon. Their wonderful sound will fill Leatherhead’s Methodist Church with beauteous music.

So wide is the Tailleferre Quintet’s experience, that you might name any UK orchestra and it is pretty certain that at least one member of the ensemble has played in it! They particularly promote music by female composers (though not exclusively) so they will bring us works we know, some we may have heard before, and definitely some lovely items that will be new to our ears.

Please join us for this 12:30 lunchtime concert in Leatherhead Methodist Church, KT22 8AY [level access throughout (including toilets), hearing loop in use, very limited on-site blue badge parking.] Parking at KT22 7JL Swan Centre multi-storey. Please contribute to the collection after the concert to cover the costs of the venue and the five musicians. Thank you.
