Live event or show
Description
The “Weimar” period in Germany (1919 – 1933), was one of extremes – social, political, economic, played out before a ravishingly decadent nightlife.
Out of this chaos rose very powerful, socially engaged art, which encompassed elements of Expressionism, Cubism and Dada, before developing “New Objectivity” and film as means of commenting on the turbulent metropolis of Berlin.
