Description

Join artist Johana Knowles for a circular walk up Box Hill. All drawing materials will be provided to produce a zine during the walk. We will explore some of the social history that makes Box Hill special, as well as looking at some of the features of this unique chalk grassland habitat. The walk will be roughly 5km with an incline of 150m along footpaths. We will stop at the Box Hill Cafe at the halfway mark. No artistic or hiking experience required, but a good level of fitness would be an advantage.

This event is LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent friendly. Participants of all backgrounds are welcome to join. This will be a really fun day of walking, chatting and making images and is totally FREE to attend. Meet outside The Burford Bridge Hotel on Sunday 12th October at 10am.
